My 5 min Breakfast recipe

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and for a long time I didn’t really believe it. But as I grew older and built muscle mass, I realized how important breakfast was to me. Having breakfast set the tone for me through out the day, I notice when I skip breakfast, I began to crave unhealthy food and end up eating more. Making the right food choice is as important as having something to eat for breakfast. Below is my favorite food to have for breakfast.

Ingredient:

Oat

Banana

Blueberries

Almonds

Chai Seeds


Oatmeal is packed with fiber, which is great because it curves your appetite for a long period of time, as oppose to let’s say eating a bowl of cereal. After cooking my oat (with water or almond milk) on very low heat for about two minutes, I add some almond for protein. I also add some banana (for potassium) and some blue or black berries for antioxidants. Lastly I sprinkle some chai seed for some omega 3, and voila it is ready to serve.
